Getting Ready for CHRISTmas!

-So saturday was my resting day from alot of fun family filled dinners! LOL I got to clean house, do laundry, and YEP....Put up CHRISTmas decorations!!! I just love CHRISTmas! Our tree is small but it fits our decorations. Every year my wonderful mother-in-law gives us an ornament. Well, I have been married for 8.5 years now so between the lights, my colorful ornament balls (whatever they are called) and my 8 specialized ornaments...my tree looks beautiful and full! *I only have a 6ft tree* =) I set up my nativity set, put out the scented candles and all the other little CHRISTmas decorations that I have (not much...but enough to feel it). I can't wait until CHRISTmas and to see the excitement in the kiddies eyes. They are definately going to love this year!
-We are going to try and focus alot on giving this year. My boys already know how much fun it is to receive and open gifts. Who doesn't?!?! But I look through this past year and am just overwhelmed by all the blessings we have received and want to share that with others. I want to teach my children the JOY in giving!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

-I hope everyone had a wonderful & Happy Thanksgiving! I know we did! What a super fun weekend it was. I just love being so busy I can't think!!! Sad though that it went by too fast! Thursday we got up and went up to my Gma Parry's house in Woodland Hills for Thanksgiving dinner. We got to spend time with some really cool CA people. Uncle Kenny, Aunt Laurie and our beautiful little (she way taller than me...lol) cousin Donna. It was a lot of fun. The boys LOVED (especially Logan) playing with Donna. She was a blast! For dinner (because we were doing a BIG Thanksgiving dinner at my mother-in-laws house the next day) we did something different. I got to have my first experience eating Bøf! It's like round beef patties that you cook and then boil for a bit. Then you top it with onions and gravy. It was SUPER yummy! Then we hung out afterwards and played cards. I just love it. Gpa taught my Tyler how to play kings in the corner. It was cute and he caught on quick. Now Tyler LOVES playing it. LOL

-Friday morning we woke up...got dressed and everyone met at the airport to pick up ELDER PARRY! Can't believe it has been 2 years already. My mother-in-law made this HUGE sign and all the nieces and nephews, and Martha (sister-in-law) held the sign for him. It was cute! It was so weird seeing him again. Time flew by way to fast! After the airport we went back to Janice's (my mother-in-law) house where we had a BIG Thanksgiving dinner. It was nice! So after dinner we just hung out and snacked on dessert and talked and played games and laughed.

It was good to be with family. I have so much to be thankful for! I have truly been blessed with marrying into such an awesome family!
